Our Mission
The purpose of the Cooper-Foreman Heirloom and Native Gardens is to promote a greater awareness and appreciation of the historic gardening culture of metro-wide Kansas City prior to 1924, while teaching children and adults how gardens looked, were tended, what plants the gardens contained, and how the plants were used.
Volunteer
We welcome new volunteers anytime throughout the year and encourage local groups and civic organizations to join us.
Students
We are excited to welcome the Garden Club along with other students to enjoy & participate in cultivating our gardens.

Plan Your Visit
Come explore our seven distinct gardens featuring local heirloom plants. Enjoy a stroll along our brick path or bring a lunch and find a comfortable spot in the sun. The gardens are open to visitors year-round.
